As a Scrum Master, you have a lot on your plate and have to take on several different stances within the organization.  The Scrum Master is accountable for establishing Scrum as defined in the Scrum Guide by helping everyone understand Scrum theory and practice, both within the Scrum Team and the organization. They are also accountable for the Scrum Team’s effectiveness by enabling the Scrum Team to improve its practices, within the Scrum framework.

The Applying Professional ScrumTM (APS) course is a 2-day course that teaches Scrum by experiencing what it’s like to deliver products using the Scrum framework. Working in a series of Sprints, students break into Scrum Teams fulfilling all of the roles on a team to deliver, simulating real-life problems.
